Submission
The Bible talks about submission in a much broader and richer way than just “obeying.” At its core, it means placing yourself under God’s authority first, and then living in humility, love, and order in your relationships.

“Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities…” - Acts 5:29
“We must obey God rather than human beings!” -
Respect authority—but never above God. If authority contradicts God, obedience to God comes first.
