The inability to cope with a
person(s) who represent a threat. or who manifests hostile opposition toward you. God's love and peace is not present.
The Word of God teaches us not to
become bitter, hostile, or vengeful toward another person. If we do, we become the losers. We might not like what others do or say, but we must gain love for them as Christ commanded.
Matt. 5:43 demonstrates how we can act. Love those that hate us, rather than react in retaliation. The need is to identify Satan as the source of contention (Eph. 6:12) and God as the answer (Gal.
5:22-23)

Dear Lord, thank you for your
love and patience. I acknowledge that my feelings and attitudes have not been Christ-like. I ask your forgiveness and the forgiveness of my friend. Give me a genuine love for my new friend. Thank you
Father, for also forgiving my friend for anything done or said against me. Thank you for giving me the fruit of the Spirit, love for my friend and showing me ways to cultivate it. In Jesus Name, Amen
