Almost all the problems that we face or deal with have sin as their cause and the Bible points the way to solution and victory as forgiveness in Jesus Christ. And most important , what will it profit the person to have all of there immediate problems solved, and then to lose their own soul ?

The Bible teaches that  salvation, being born again, is necessary for a person to see the Kingdom of God, recieve eternal life, forgiveness of sins, and indewelling Holy Spirit, and become a child of God and joint -heir with Christ. It is also clear that it is to be recieved by Faith in the death and resurrection of Christ for the atonement for the individual's sins, including a turning from sin and the self centered life(repentance) and the turning over of the ordering of life completely to Jesus(Lordship of Christ). Salvation is also totally by God's grace; He elects, predestines, calls, justifies, sanctifies, and glorifies every true believer(Rom. 8:29-30; Eph. 2:8-9).
